ARASHI's new TV show 'ARASHI Ni Shiyagare' good start: 17.3% viewer ratings for its 1st episode



Popular group ARASHI's newest task at Nippon TV hosting a new variety show called 'ARASHI Ni Shiyagare' (premiered last Saturday April 24) reached a
rating of 17.3% according to a study by Video Research Ltd released here on April 26.Meanwhile, another Nippon TV show, the drama 'Kaibutsu-kun' where its lead role is played by Ohno Satoshi of ARASHI as well, got 15.6% ratings in its second episode.Both results from the study done in the Kanto region proved once more of ARASHI strong influence over TV viewers.


In 'ARASHI Ni Shiyagare', each episode the set will be changed with reference to the main guest of the week whom they invite and they will put up a short play in front of live audiences, performing impromptu talks without script that is set to show a different side of ARASHI not seen before.Comic duo 'くりぃむしちゅー'(Cream Stew) was invited as guest in the first episode, "lecturing" ARASHI about "professional MC-ing skills".ARASHI, making the best out of the Cream Stew's advice on MC-ing, also tackled a talk with another invited guest, talent Ariyoshi Hiroiki.


Also, Ohno Satoshi's drama 'Kaibutsu-kun' second episode aired on the same day as well.Ohno proved his popularity among TV viewers as 'Kaibutsu-kun' scored 17.5% ratings for its first episode.From this high ratings of its show, Nippon TV has now achieved two top spots in the golden and prime slot in terms of weekly ranking.'Kaibutsu-kun' airs at 9 p.m. followed by 'ARASHI Ni Shiyagare' at 10 p.m. on Saturdays which has now created an 'ARASHI' sensation every Saturday nights hereafter.
