Ayumi Hamasaki's latest tour, "ayumi hamasaki ARENA TOUR 2011 ~HOTEL Love songs~", was scheduled to start on April 9th. However, due to the recent earthquake and tsunami struck Japan, Ayumi has decided to cancel all of her April tour dates. This was done to conserve electricity and because Japan is
still experiencing aftershocks. Furthermore, one of the concert arenas is being used as a refuge shelter for 1,400 victims of the disaster.
The affected tour dates are as follows:
Saitama Super Arena - April 9th and 10th
Nihon Gaisha Hall - April 16th and 17th
Osaka-Jo Hall - April 23rd and 24th
Shizuoka Ecopa Arena - April 29th and 30th
