Pretty boy, Wu Chun (Fahrenheit) caused a major stir when he announced recently that he's dropping out of the Taiwanese rendition of "Absolute Boyfriend". The drama also stars Goo Hye Sun from Korean version of Boys Before Flowers. What was the real reason behind his actions? Find out more...
According to Chun's manager, he had dropped out because the script isn't
"good enough". Luckily, filming hasn't commenced yet or else they'll need to find a male lead quickly. Also, there's no confirmations about when shooting will commence therefore, making it difficult to schedule it in his already packed agenda.
Rumour has it that GTV is not impressed at his action because they felt all this while they gave him many good opportunities to his stardom and so a lawsuit "might take place". Even the producers expressed their anger about this situation:
"Using the excuse that the script is not good enough is not a good excuse. If he's not happy with the script then we are happy to change it to satisfy him but because he dropped out like that, it is unprofessional considering everyone has confirmed to act. As a result, this project may be delayed again until further notice."
