Influenza afflicts more celebrities halting appearances

Because of the recent Influenza A infections, three members of group Kanjani ∞ are currently resting at home. Their TV show studio live audience are dissuaded to attend the recording due to the risk of contamination.

Earlier this week, it was announced that Kanjani ∞ member Shota Yasuda (25) is sick with Inlfuenza A. As of yesterday, Yuu Yokoyama (28) and Tadayoshi Ohkura (24) were also diagnosed with the illness. As said in a previous article, these three members attended a Kanjani ∞ fan event in Osaka together. Ohkura was said to have a temperature of over 38.2 °C. Member Shingo Murakami (27), who is acting in fall drama My Girl, is now suffering a severe cold leaving only three members of the Johnny’s and Associates group healthy.

Murakami urges group mates, Subaru Shibutani (28), Ryuuhei Maruyama (25), and Ryo Nishikido (24) to stay healthy.

Other celebrities that are afflicted with the flu are:

Mai Oshima (22), original member of AKB48, Yuu Shirota (23), who was said to star in Samurai Seventeen, comedic duo Bananaman member, Yuki Himura (37) also appearing in My Girl, and Kuro-chan(32) of Yasuda Dai Circus. The flu has greatly affected this upcoming drama season even before it started. Because of its contagious nature, cast of ROMES, My Girl, and Samurai Seventeen should be monitored for possible infections.
