Nakama Yukie and instant ramen

Nakama Yukie (29) and TOKIO’s Kokubun Taichi (34) appeared as guests at the announcement of Nissin Foods’ "Teaching what’s Delicious at the Kindergarten Caravan". Nissin Foods is the creator of the first instant ramen in the world, the "Chicken Ramen" that celebrates its 51 anniversary this year. Nakama and Kokubun also got the chance to make their own Chicken Ramen on stage and Nakama was clearly impressed with the little gadget they had as help to make the perfect noodles.

Kokubun isn’t a new name when it comes to Chicken Ramen, after all he’s been starring in their commercials for over 7 years now. "For Chicken Ramen you need about 120 noodles and they should be 50cm long. I looked that up on Yahoo!" Kokubun joked on stage and expressed his love for the Chicken Ramen. Nakama also talked a bit about the filming of the commercial. "It was really touching when we got to wear the New Year’s kimono for the commercial."

While making the noodles for the actual ramen, both of them really had a lot of fun experimenting with that little noodle gadget that made their eyes shine like that of little children. Afterwards they also did the eggs and added the boiling hot water to finish their very own chicken ramen. "I clearly remember how delicious it was when I ate it during my childhood. I always wanted to make a fun experience with creating the noodles for the ramen." She commented on stage.

The caravan with the literal goal of an "education about having a good diet is going to visit pre-schoolers until March next year and will show them how to make chicken ramen, will do some chicken ramen exercises with them and let them try out their ramen, of course.

Gokusen the Movie's Trailer Streamed Online

The official website for the live-action theatrical film based on Kozueko Morimoto's Gokusen school comedy manga is streaming the film's trailer. The website is also still streaming the teaser trailer for the film. 29-year-old Yukie Nakama is reprising her starring role of Kumiko "Yankumi" Yamaguchi, the high school teacher with yakuza ties, one last time for the film. The film will serve as a finale to the three television seasons that Toya Sato (live-action Grave of the Fireflies, Sexy Voice and Robo) directed from 2002 to 2008. Veteran film director Junya Satō (live-action Golgo 13) is assisting Sato on the new project.

Shun Oguri, Yuma Ishigaki, and Hiroki Narimiya will reprise their roles from the first season, and Kazuya Kamenashi, Mokomichi Hayami, Teppei Koike, and Keisuke Koide return from the second season. The film will focus primarily on students seen in the last season, as played by Haruma Miura (Ren Kazama), Yuuya Takaki (Yamato Ogata), and Yūta Tamamori of the Johnny's Jr. idol group Kis-My-Ft2.

Media Blasters released the television animated version of the manga in North America from 2004 to 2005.

More "Gokusen" Cast Details

With "Gokusen: The Movie" less than a couple months away, a new announcement has revealed that six more actors from the drama's earlier seasons will be returning, including Shun Oguri and Mokomichi Hayami.

The movie is already known to focus on the cast of the show's third season, which aired in 2008. It was previously announced that Yuya Takaki, Haruma Miura, and Yuta Tamamori are part of the main cast. At the end of last month, it was also revealed that the second season's Kazuya Kamenashi was added to the cast.

Now, the number of returning alumni has again increased, adding three students each from the drama's first two seasons. Oguri will represent the first season, along with Yuma Ishigaki and Hiroki Narimiya. From the second season, Hayami will be joined by Teppei Koike and Keisuke Koide.

Although all six played delinquent students in their respective seasons, they have grown up to become respectable members of society. Together with Kamenashi's character, who has become a teacher in training, these graduates will lend their support to the beloved teacher "Yankumi," played by starring actress Yukie Nakama. This movie is said to be Nakama's last time to take on this role.

Filming for the movie finished on May 13. The picture opens in theaters on July 11.
