Kim Bum sways the hearts of Japanese audience, story of love with an older woman
Korean actor and star Kim Bum recently appeared on a Tokyo based talk show as part of his promotional activities for a Korean drama airing in Japan. The drama, “Renai Manual ~Mada Kekkon Shitai Onna~” (“The Woman Who Still Wants to Marry”) originally aired in Korea last year, and recently hit the Japanese television circuit this past fall.
In the drama’s storyline, Kim Bum plays a talented musician who falls in love with a
television reporter 10 years his senior. On the talk show, the 21 year old revealed that this storyline may not be that far off from his own private life, revealing that he has had an experience where he has fallen for an older woman.
He stated, “My ideal situation is to tell (her) in front of people, ‘I am loved by so many but I love you the most’”. The actor’s down-to-earth response swayed the hearts of more than a hundred women in the audience.
