MBLAQ to debut in Japan on May 4th
Popular Korean pop group MBLAQ will be joining a whole fleet of foreign artists making their debut in Japan this year. With the recent meteoric rise and success stories of groups such as KARA and Shoujo Jidai (Girls’ Generation), other groups are wasting no time in their plans to make a splash in one of the largest music industries in the world.
The group, which was produced by popular Korean singer Rain, who made his own debut in Japan almost 5 years ago, has a mean age of 21.6 and an average height of 178.4 cm, and their good looks are already catching the attention of Japanese fans.
While their unique vocal and dance style is sure to be a hit, the group has a
rather large goal set in mind. Their producer, Rain, became the first Korean artist to perform at the Tokyo Dome back in 2007, and they are optimistic that someday their time will come to perform on that legendary stage.
The group’s official Japanese website has now been updated to include the announcement of their impending debut on May 4th. The group will begin recording their debut single on the 21st of February.
